Over the past twelve years, the Green Innovation Centres for Agriculture project drove remarkable progress by supporting 259 innovations across 21 value chains in 16 countries.
These knowledge-based, technical, input-driven, and organizational solutions strengthened agricultural systems and improved livelihoods worldwide. Several globally relevant approaches – including Contract Farming, the Farmer Business School, Good Agricultural Practices, the Small Medium Enterprise Loop, and the System of Rice Intensification – have been successfully adapted, standardized, and scaled across regions, setting new benchmarks for sustainable agricultural development.
