Looking for practical ways to advance gender equality in your programme or project – but not sure which tool or approach fits your context?
Pathways to Transformation supports practitioners moving from ambition to action. The toolkit brings together gender-responsive and gender-transformative tools and approaches for agri-food systems and provides practical guidance to help you select, adapt, and apply them in your own work.
The SNRD Gender Transformative Approaches Working Group contributed its practical experience and expertise to the selection of tools and approaches included in the toolkit. This helped ensure that the collection responds to challenges practitioners encounter when putting gender equality and gender-transformative ambitions into practice.
Rather than simply presenting a collection of methods, the toolkit helps you navigate your options. Detailed deep dives draw on practitioners’ implementation experience and highlight lessons learned, success factors, common challenges, and possibilities for adaptation. Tool snapshots provide concise introductions, while the tool navigator and comparison tables help you identify approaches that fit your objectives, context, project phase, and desired level of change.
