At the SNRD Africa Conference in Zambia, participants spent most of the programme in plenary presentations, expert inputs, and hands-on workshops. The Marketplace Session added a different energy: an open space where colleagues could move freely between booths, speak directly with project teams, and get a feel for practical tools and approaches from across the network.
To capture some of these conversations, the camera team recorded short stand-up interviews with representatives from several projects. These clips offer quick insights into what their projects do and why they matter in their specific contexts.
Step 1: Start with Community Dynamics
How involving men as active allies strengthens gender-transformative approaches, improves relationships, and supports community-wide progress.
Step 2: Look at Digital Transformation in Agribusiness
How structured digital learning paths and mentorship formats strengthen young agripreneurs across Africa.
Step 3: Examine Structural Land Issues
Why fragmentation remains a barrier to resilience — and how innovative land-use arrangements can support rural livelihoods.
Step 4: Focus on Nutrition and Child Development
A look at Namibia’s community-driven nutrition model that connects families, schools, and local institutions.
Step 5: Analyse Governance Approaches
How better governance structures and policy coordination strengthen soil-health initiatives in Nigeria.
Step 6: Explore Climate-Smart Practices

Step 7: Look at Ecological Pest Management
How biological and ecological solutions reduce pest pressure while preserving environmental health.
Note: This is not a complete documentation of all booths presented during the Marketplace Session. It is a selection captured by the camera team based on time availability.
The Marketplace Session complemented the more structured parts of the conference and created room for direct conversations, condensed demonstrations, and interactive learning. These videos offer a window into the diversity of perspectives and solutions represented across the SNRD Africa network — and a reminder of how much expertise sits within our community.
