About the Trainers and Coaches

The demand for inclusive Contract Farming (iCF) expertise is on the rise — not only within GIZ, but also in other organisations in development cooperation, within the private sector and in the partner countries. It is one tool among others for promoting sustainable agricultural value chains. If planned and managed well, iCF can serve to improve the access to markets for smallholder farmers and the procurement of agricultural produce for processors and traders.

Supporting iCF business models is a complex endeavour. Context-specific advice requires qualified and well-experienced trainers and coaches. For this reason, GIZ’s FMB has established a pool of trainers and coaches, which provides suitable experts for an array of different kinds of iCF assignments and in different languages: be it training, coaching or consultation in partner countries, or backstopping of national and regional experts from a distance.

Projects of GIZ, other organisations, companies, farmer-based organisations or any other party who wish to exchange or work with the trainers are kindly requested to establish contact via the facilitators of the iCF Community at inclusive.contract.farming@giz.de

GIZ, SNRD Africa and the iCF CoP Facilitators provide no warranty or liability for service quality. Warranty or compensation claims are solely against the respective trainer/coach.

Selling or any commercial use of trainers and coaches’ contact details or personal data provided to you or shown on the SNRD Africa website is prohibited. These data may only be used for networking to identify suitable trainers/coaches for assignments promoting GIZ’s iCF approach.
